Global Skills Passport Certification

Global Skills Passport Certification

Finally, the Global Skills Passport itself provides a means to accredit global skills development for individuals. This represents final certification that a teacher or peer educator can award to a student. It is a certificate, in the form of a passport, using all the languages students have worked in during the In Others' Shoes project. This serves as a reminder of the global skills attributes and their vital contribution to everyday 21st Century life.

This document was specially designed to give the appearance of a passport but also to be relatively easy to print for distribution in schools. As such it cannot be modified and remains identified with this specific project.

The decision on the best time and place to use or adapt any of these resources is left to the professional judgement of the educator. Some of our project teachers found the grids easy to convert into data, mapping responses across into spreadsheets. They can be used just for fun, to stimulate discussion and deeper thinking, or be further refined and sharpened to meet specific requirements. We do hope they help busy teachers whatever their interest in global citizenship skills.
